Job description
We are seeking passionate and qualified soccer coaches to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coaching and mentoring youth players, designing and implementing effective training sessions, and promoting sportsmanship and skill development. This role requires a commitment to safety, inclusivity, and fostering a love for the game.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate soccer training sessions focusing on skill development, teamwork, and tactical understanding.
- Lead and manage teams during practices and events.
- Provide positive reinforcement, mentorship, and constructive feedback to players.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Communicate effectively with parents, players, and academy staff regarding schedules, performance, and updates.
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, including child safety guidelines.
- Represent the academy professionally during practices and events.

Preferred requirements
The following qualifications are strongly preferred but not required:
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire).
- Valid coaching credentials or licenses (e.g., USSF, United Soccer Coaches).
- Experience playing and coaching youth soccer.
- Knowledge of soccer development frameworks (e.g., U.S. Soccer’s Player Development Model).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Physical requirements
Ability to perform physical activities such as demonstrating drills and engaging in active coaching sessions.
