This game emphasizes quick decisions, counterattacks, third-man runs, and defensive pressure and communication. Players inside are playing to goal/target players on the outside. On scoring, the target player comes into the grid and the passer becomes the new target.
Description
Players organize 2v2+1 in middle of grid with teammates on opposite ends of grid within cone targets. Inside players are trying to pass to outside targets for a point. When outside player receives ball, passer and outside player switch inside-and-outside. Team must find neutral before another point can be scored. Neutral cannot score a point.
Coaching Points
Attacking team should look to form triangles and 3rd man runs off of points. Defending team must quickly reorganize on change of possession.
Progression
Limit touch counts for neutral, attacking players.
