I am currently the Executive DIrector for La Academia de Fútbol Monterey, Varsity Head Coach for Girls Soccer at Seaside High School, and an Assistant Coach with Men’s Soccer at Monterey Peninsula College.
I hold a UEFA B license from the Scottish FA , a Master’s degree in Recreational Sports with an emphasis on Soccer Coaching from Ohio University, and the Master Coach Diploma from United Soccer Coaches and the University of Delaware. I hold an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification.
My personal fitness passion is indoor rowing and bodyweight resistance training.
I retired in 2014 after a 31 year career in Silicon Valley. My professional background is in software engineering – specifically distributed systems, operating and storage systems. I hold 16 patents related to networking, fault tolerance, and storage management. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
