EXPLANATION

Field divided into 3 zones with 2 end zones for GKs only – players are locked into their zones EXCEPT when ball is played into next zone, 1 player may move forward in support
On loss of possession, players return to their original zones
Ball must be played on the ground

PROGRESSION

Limit touch count
Allow 2 players to move forward

COACHING POINTS

In defensive third, game is 4v2 rondo with GK
Attacking players in next zone – make timed runs away, then back to ball, look for diagonal back passes to switch point of attack, attempt to break lines early
In final third – anticipate GK movements, look for feints/switch to attack open goal
