We worked this week on the technique of using the outside of our foot to pass the ball. Here is a video demonstrating the technique:
I suggest using a wall or other surface as a training "partner", practicing the technique. The video notes the positioning of the plant foot - this will be key to creating the space to striking the ball. Other keys are the position of the hips (facing the target) and the rotation and locking of the ankle.
